Maintenance Announcements
The current version is Retain Pro 9, released November, 2009. For most current release of this version, including changes made for each release, see Retain Pro 9 Advisor on home page.
Prior version Retain Pro 2007 is no longer available. The latest release of that version was 2007R. A history of updates made during its availability are listed below:
Updates on Release 2007-R (AutoUpdate)
- Fixed erroneous stress ratio on stem screen when seismic self weight is activated.
- On Options screen under Use of Vertical Component of Active Pressure, deleted option to use this to increase sliding resistance or reduce soil pressure, but retained the option for increasing overturning resistance. Most texts and our geotechnical consultant advise using this added vertical force only for increasing overturning resistance. Also deleted use of vertical component for level backfill slopes and seismic forces.
Updates on Release 2007-Q (AutoUpdate)
- Fixed the "STEM OK" message
- On CalcTrac:
Moved Retained Height to top
Added Force of water over heel
Added Seismic due to self weight
Added Surcharge over heel
Added Pier foundation information
Removed unnecessary information when Pier used.
Added multiplier of 12 to toe soil pressure to match report.
Removed duplicate Bar Lap Lengths.
- On Overturning Tab separated "Surcharge over Heel" from "Heel Active Pressure", also on report.
- Added: NOTE: Bowlegs' Foundation Analysis & Design recommends using the above vertical component selection only for Overturning Resistance, and only when there is a sloped backfill.
- Added Apply S.F. to Allow. Passive to Pier input and on summary screen and report and added Actual Passive Pressure.
- When pier foundation used, removed from report: "Resisting/Overturning Ratio" and below replaced with: "Pier foundation. Forces and moments displayed are applied at top of pier."
- Fixed fb/FB + fa/FA on report, was different than on screen.
- Fixed "LAP SPLICE IF ABOVE", "LAP SPLICE IF BELOW" and "HOOK EMBED INTO FTG" on report, they were different than on screen.
- Re-added version to title bar.
